This high performance CAI effectively opens up the intake system of Ford's Fusion Sport 3.5L V6 power plant and allows it to breath much more freely than the stock intake system allows.
Our engineers started with a large surface area high-flow nano-fiber air filter, added our famous “race-tested” velocity stack entry and then designed a stainless steel heat shield with a durable rubber gasket to seal the shield against the vehicle’s hood to prevent hot underhood air from being drawn into the airbox from the engine compartment.
Competitive intakes don't even bother to use a head shield on their intake designs, and do not also provide a velocity stack which increases air velocity and streamlines the incoming air charge providing a clean mass air flow signal.
Streamlined airflow over the mass air sensor prevents turbulence across the mass air sensor. A clean mass air flow sensor signal is critical to perfect driveability and throttle response.
This intake was designed to work with the stock engine calibration and will provide a gain of up to 12hp at the wheels on its own.

this CAI was very easy to install and I love the growl my motor has now and the throttle is more responsive next is the tuner!

I love the growl this produces when your on the road. Turn off the music and just listen. Combined with the magnaflow exhaust, heaven!

Outstanding product and staff
I bought the CAI about two weeks ago. Installing it was a breeze. Instructions were step by step. Fits like a glove.
The heat shield is snug with the hood and driver side fender. It keeps all the hot air out.

I recently worked with Todd and Gus in getting the CAI ordered for my Sport along with getting a tune to allow me to take the insert out.
Installation was a breeze and everything fit perfectly. The butt dyno says there is a good increase in power on just 87, I have yet to try 93.
There is a noticeable growl when the engine is under load now (e.g., during WOT accel) which sound very performance oriented and definitely turns heads.
Excellent customer service and great product.
