Motor Trend Evaluates the Steeda Fusion

We recently gave the keys of our Steeda Fusion to the staff at Motor Trend, challenging them to put it thru their battery of tests and compare it against the best the rest of the world has to offer. We all know that Motor Trend provides unbiased evaluations and “calls it as they see it”…often bashing various automakers with their criticisms and highlighting any shortcomings they may find. Some would call it a risky move on our part, but the team at Steeda Autosports had confidence that they found the magic formula to make a fine automobile even better.
Following are a few of Motor Trend’s comments:

Steeda Fusion Paces the Races
January, 2007
 Fresh from its unveiling at the SEMA Show the Steeda Grand Touring Fusion was chosen as the pace car for the SCCA, South Atlantic Road Racing Championship races at Moroso Motorsports Park, located in Jupiter, Florida. The Fusion features the complete lineup of Steeda Fusion parts including the new Steeda cold air package. The new package provides the V6 Duratec engine with an additional 25 horsepower. The Magnaflow performance exhaust provides additional performance along with a pleasing, yet purposeful sound.
After putting the Fusion through its paces on the ten turn 2.25 mile Moroso road course, the pace car driver, who just happens to own a BMW performance business, commented, “I am very impressed with the overall feel and balance of the car. The car turns in well and has plenty of power.

Steeda Introduces Their Development Fusion

 The All American Grand Touring Fusion by Steeda Autosports is a refined, fast and well balanced automobile that delivers more fun per mile than anything in its class.
Steeda engineers enhance the Fusion with suspension modifications, including Steeda Sport Springs that improve the ride and handling of the Steeda Fusion, but not at the expense of ride quality and comfort. Steeda has designed and engineered a front strut tower brace to help eliminate body flex.
Steeda Autosports outfitted the Grand Touring Fusion with the company’s latest wheels, the new Hexcentric style. Designed by Steeda especially for the Fusion, the Hexcentric wheels offer the correct offset and are light and strong.
